The two places roofs leak most — flashed, sealed, and installed right. Serving southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts from our base in Merrimack, NH.
A skylight is a hole in your roof that's supposed to stay dry, and a chimney is a brick wall punched through your shingles — flashing is what keeps both watertight. We repair leaking skylights, replace fogged or failed units, install new ones with proper flashing kits, and re-flash chimneys where the old metal has rusted, pulled away, or was never installed correctly in the first place.
If your ceiling stains every spring near a skylight or chimney, the fix is almost always the flashing, not the fixture. We find the actual leak path instead of sealing over the symptom.

We install VELUX Skylight Systems, and there's a practical reason we bring them up during a roof replacement: we're already pulling the shingles around your existing skylight to re-flash and re-seal it. The labor is happening either way. Replacing the unit at that point costs a fraction of doing it as a standalone job later.
Re-flashing an old skylight during a re-roof takes nearly the same work as installing a new one. Doing it separately in two years means paying for that access twice.
The pre-installed solar-powered shade improves the skylight's U-value by up to 46% and cuts solar heat gain by 43% — warmer in January, cooler in July. Operated by a handheld remote, no wiring.
VELUX covers the Skylight System and its installation for 10 years, and the glass for 20. Replace during your re-roof and your skylight warranty runs alongside your roof warranty instead of expiring years apart.
VELUX's watertight seal isn't one part — it's three, and all three have to be installed correctly.
We also install VELUX Sun Tunnels — a tubular skylight that brings real daylight into hallways, bathrooms, and closets where a full skylight doesn't fit. Paired with the Solar Night Light, it lights the space with sunlight all day and a soft glow at night, using no electricity.
